This electric heated shawl is a large, soft blanket with a zipper and built-in heating wires. Plug it in via USB, select the heat setting with the button on the chest and get heat in approximately 15 seconds. Use it as a shawl over the shoulders, as a lap blanket at the desk or as a foot warmer on the sofa.

The construction
Heating wire in double spiral between two soft layers
The heat comes from carbon fiber wire in a double spiral that is waterproof and flame-retardant according to the manufacturer. The wires sit between a rib-knit outer layer and a soft fleece lining, so the heat is kept close to you. The outer layer is jacquard knit in a cotton blend and the lining is soft waffle fleece.

- Shawl: pull it over the shoulders and close the zipper so it stays in place.
- Lap blanket: place it over knees and thighs at the desk or on the sofa.
- Foot warmer: fold it around the feet when the floor is cold.
