Voltaro | Hand Crank Emergency Radio with Back-Up Power

When a blackout drags on, the sun stays hidden and the batteries are flat, the hand crank keeps this compact emergency radio working. It gives you radio, light and phone charging from one small unit.

Long outages leave you needing light and news at the worst moment. This compact unit combines an AM/FM radio with bright LED lighting and several ways to charge. Turning the hand crank generates power when there is no sunshine and no spare batteries, and solar input adds another option when the weather allows. A built-in rechargeable battery and a USB output let you top up a phone or small device while you are out and about.

Hand Crank Backup Power
Several ways of generating power are on hand, and the crank is the one that needs nothing but you: no sunlight and no charged batteries. Solar input and the internal rechargeable battery are there too. When mains power is down, the USB output charges phones and small devices.

Clear AM/FM Reception
The built-in AM/FM tuner picks up local news, weather and emergency broadcasts. A telescopic antenna and manual tuning help you find stations even in remote areas.

Bright, Versatile Lighting
A high-output LED flashlight and a fold-out reading light give you both focused and wider illumination. Several light modes let you pick a bright beam or a softer light for reading and other tasks.

Portable and Durable
The compact, lightweight plastic housing is easy to carry and fits neatly into an emergency kit. Simple controls and a sturdy build cope well with outdoor use and travel.
