Nordspur | Ambrel Solar Emergency Radio With Torch

Your phone is down to its last few percent and the power has gone out, but there's a way to top it up by the window or at the campsite.

A flat phone is a real nuisance when you can't plug anything in. This radio charges its own 2000mAh battery from the solar panel or by turning the crank, so it doesn't depend on the mains.

• Solar and hand-crank charging
• USB Type-C output for phones
• WB, AM and FM radio
• Built-in LED flashlight

Three ways to charge
You can charge the radio with the solar panel, the hand crank or a cable. That gives you a few options when there's no mains power.

Charges your phone
The USB Type-C output lets you charge a mobile phone from the radio. Plug your phone in and top it up when your own battery is low.

WB, AM and FM bands
A tuning dial covers weather band, AM and FM stations. You can listen to the forecast or your usual station with the same radio.

Built-in flashlight
The LED flashlight has its own button, so it's easy to find in the dark. It uses 3 LED lights, which is useful around a tent or during a power cut.
