Nordspur | Vaelis Hinged Open Patella Knee Brace

Stepping off a high kerb or descending a steep footpath often brings an uncomfortable wobble to a tender joint.

Joint tenderness or a sudden shift in weight can make everyday movement feel awkward and uncertain. Twin side hinges track the natural bending line of your leg to guide the joint smoothly through each step.

• Twin mechanical side hinges
• Open circular kneecap cutout
• Independent upper and lower strapping
• Flexible contoured leg wrap

Guided lateral stability
Mechanical hinges flank each side of the knee to mirror your natural bending path. These sturdy guides assist in keeping the joint aligned forward rather than drifting sideways.

Relieved patella pressure
A circular opening leaves the front of the joint free from direct compressive weight. Reinforced stitching frames the cutout to keep the support securely situated around the kneecap.

Independent tension straps
Broad upper and lower fastening bands adjust separately to accommodate your leg shape. You can slacken or tighten each section depending on your activity level and comfort.

Contoured flexible wrap
The pliable main sleeve adapts closely to the natural taper of your thigh and calf. A total height of 27.7 cm provides ample joint coverage without bunching behind the bend.
