Close off the open side — sun, wind and prying eyes.
A pergola or gazebo takes care of the sun overhead, but it leaves you exposed on the sides: the low sun that streams in at breakfast and early evening, the wind that blows straight through, and the open view into your seating area from next door. A side panel turns that half-open frame into a properly sheltered, private spot.
Fixed down one side of your pergola or gazebo, the dense woven Aurevo blocks the low, glaring sun the roof can't reach and cuts the wind that funnels through the open sides. Because it's a solid panel, it also blocks the direct view in, giving the seating area a genuinely private, enclosed feel rather than just a hint of one. The water-beading finish handles a passing shower, and the whole thing ties on with the supplied cords, so there's nothing to drill.
Why it works as a side panel:
- Stops low-side sun — blocks the early-morning and early-evening sun that comes in under the roof, when overhead cover does nothing
- Blocks the view in — the dense panel screens the seating area from next door for real privacy, not just a softened outline
- Cuts wind through open sides — shelters a pergola or gazebo from the draught that funnels through, so the space stays calm and usable
- Handles light rain — the water-beading finish shrugs off a passing shower, extending how long the space stays usable
- Ties on, no drilling — fixes to pergolas, awnings and frames with the supplied cords; nothing permanent to install
-
Taut, tailored finish — reinforced hem and evenly spaced eyelets keep it flat and neat down any side
Specs:
Dense woven panel with water-beading finish · Reduces glare & UV · Reinforced hem with evenly spaced eyelets · Tension cords & ties supplied · Available in 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, 5 m · Wipe clean
Good to know: the water-beading finish handles light rain and showers, but this is a privacy and shade panel, not a waterproof roof — it won't keep out heavy or prolonged rain.
Fix it to the sunny side, the windy side, or the side the neighbours look in from – the Aurevo turns an open pergola into a sheltered, private one.
