Nordspur | Tallion Portable Emergency Radio With Torch

The power cuts out halfway through the evening and your phone is down to a few per cent.

Finding your torch, radio and charger in the dark is a faff when all three are separate things. This radio puts them in one body, with a 3W LED torch at the front and a screen that shows the time.

• Hand crank and solar charging
• USB output for phones
• AM, FM and SW bands
• Built-in LED torch

Hand crank and solar charging
There are two ways to charge it without a socket. The crank folds against the side, and the solar panel runs along the top.

Phone charging from the USB port
The built-in 2000mAh battery can top up a phone or tablet when you're away from a socket. You just plug your cable into the USB output on the side.

AM, FM and SW radio
You can tune across AM, FM and two shortwave bands. The telescopic antenna extends when you want a better signal and folds away when you don't.

Built-in 3W LED torch
A bright torch sits at the front of the radio. It's useful for finding your way round a tent or the house after dark.
